  • What should I expect in the Zaya dining experience?

    Zaya’s Signature Tableside Experience

New to Korean BBQ or a Seasoned Pro? You’ll Feel Right at Home.

Zaya isn’t your typical Korean BBQ restaurant. Instead of cooking your own meal, guests at Zaya are treated to a full-service experience.

At every table, a personal smokeless grill becomes the stage where our expert servers handle all the grilling—so you don’t have to!

Whether it’s your first time trying Korean barbecue or you’re a longtime fan, our team guides you through the menu, explains each cut, and introduces the flavors of Korean cuisine. It’s upscale, approachable, and unlike anything else in Chattanooga.

Choose from 55-day in-house dry-aged ribeye, NY Strip, or tomahawk cuts. Want only the best? Try the prized A5 Japanese Miyazaki Wagyu—all seared tableside by our staff and served in perfect, bite-sized portions.

Book your table at Zaya and let us do the grilling!

  • Why is your restaurant named Zaya 1943?

Zaya is a unique name that was chosen as a shortened version of the word Isaiah. The year 1943 was chosen as part of our name from the Bible verse Isaiah 43:19.

  • Is Zaya Korean Steakhouse a traditional Korean BBQ restaurant?

Zaya Korean Steakhouse combines a fine-dining steakhouse with Korean BBQ elements. As a result, our guests experience a fine dining atmosphere while they enjoy premium quality cuts of beef cooked by our servers over a smokeless grill. Every guest is treated with the utmost care in a dimly lit, romantic atmosphere accompanied by excellent service.
